Yep, perfect, thanks. I poked around last night on windows and mac and couldn't get anything resembling sluggishness on those machines with oodles of memories and banks, so it might be a GTK thing. I don't have a hidpi linux machine to test with, but I can run it over remote X which usually highlights pathological UI behavior.
