[chirp_devel] Adding radio settings to radio with clones

Actually Jim, you just beat me to it! I was a build or so behind, so didn’t see all the settings you just added to the AT-778.
FYI… The comments at the top still list "Any non-memory radio settings” as unsupported. I’d say you covered them.
Bummer… I was looking forward to doing that.

Thanks!

Thanks! I found a bunch is already written, just need to invoke it. I’ll send you a draft patch when I think it’s ready to test.

I forgot to mention that I can verify any additional settings that you create with my Retevis RT95 variant of the AnyTone AT-778UV.

Brad,

When I did the settings that I did, I didn’t notice any difference between the AnyTone and Retevis software, so I assumed they were all the same.

I’m planning on adding radio settings to the driver for Anytone AT-778UV. This radio has several clones and two versions of the Anytone clone. Presently the driver is the same for all. Should I assume the radio settings are the same for all? Just the vendor & model of the radio I have access to?

Please advise if you’ve had such experience I can learn from.

Thanks much & happy new year!
