[UAT] TNC-Pi on I2C bus

Good afternoon,
Hi Dan,

I see you are active on the yahoo group, dealing with the RaspberryPi
TNC-X. I have one such a device, plan to extended it with a small gps unit.
For this it would be good to "redirect" the RPi-TNC from the serial line to
the I2C bus.
I made some tries with it, following the small documentation, but my
situation is not clear:
I installed the necessery packages, modules,
- I have  i2c_bcm2708  i2c-dev, the ax25 and the mkiss  modules
- I have the /dev/i2c-0 and i2c-1 devices
but if I try to check the accesability of the device, with the i2cdetect
util, it isnot see anything:

The case is the same on i2c-1 dev too.
 If I try the special pi-tnc utils, it trying only:

Do you have such a config with success, or this is my problem only? I
havenot too much idea, where can I search the solution.
