</div>It doesn't poll, it continuously reads the data stream in a thread. It<br>
*should* update the current position as soon as it receives that<br>
information from the GPS (which happens as fast as the GPS can cycle<br>
through its data at 4800 baud). Yes, the point is to enable a moving<br>
D-RATS station to remain current.<br>

</div>It's not a workaround. The email access rules are there to prevent<br>
arbitrary remote stations from sending email through your email account.<br>
Adding the "*" rule to allow anyone to send anything is your choice,<br>
but I think it's important to keep that access restriction in place so<br>
that people that don't want that behavior can restrict it.<br>

contained in those documents. I would have hoped that six or eight<br>
"lessons" from the WL2K gurus would have been more informative.<br>
