<body class='hmmessage'>Thanks for the input. The GPS is a Garmin Street Pilot III. I'm using a 9pin Serial connector, connected to COM1.<BR>
I did see an error message (down in the right hand corner of the Map screen) that said "unable to connect to COM Port".<BR>

The GPS setup screen gives a few options, but I selected NMEA. The baud rate is fixed at 4800 and<BR>
can't be changed.<BR>
