I thought it would need to be the same due to the fact that the D*STAR system uses the /91AD as an identifier for that particular radio. </div></blockquote></span></div></blockquote></div>There seems to be confusion on the 4 characters after the / -- it has nothing to do with radio identification, routing, etc., its a comment, nothing more, nothing less<br>
<br>The 8 characters before the slash determines you callsign/radio ID.<br><br>'K7VE /John' and 'K7VE /91AD' as far as D-STAR is concerned are the same thing (radio/callsign/etc.) <br><br>On my radios, I have the following setup:<br>
