[drats_users] more on d-rats email

Here is an experiment I did:

file>preferences nothing enabled

file>preferences>radio refl 9000 only enabled

file>preferences>Outgoing email nothing enabled

file>preferences>Email Accounts nothing enabled

file>preferences>Email Access Access set to incoming

with the above settings I sent an internet email using d-rats to a station on the internet and he got it. Why did it go through?

There is nothing wrong with not knowing, there is something wrong with not asking. Certainly not complaining,
I just find it interesting that the message went through but I assume that is normal and then what are the scenarios for all
the other settings to be used?

I certainly don’t expect an immediate answer but I am curious how all works under what conditions.

Take care and thanks for any consideration,
