[drats_users] D-Rats 0.3.3 / TNC Config Issue

Using D-Rats 0.3.3 or it's repeater proxy to add a TNC (without AX.25 option
checked) results in a new device created with a type of:

<type 'type'>

instead of "tnc".  In case the above gets filtered out, the above string is
prefixed with a less than symbol and ends with a greater than symbol, there
is the word "type" twice, with the second surrounded by single-quotes.

When trying to run D-Rats or the repeater proxy it doesn't work.  However if
I manually edit d-rats.conf and repeater.config to change that string to
"tnc" it then appears to work.

I dug out a Kantronix MT1200 TNC and the lights light up as expected when
attempting to send, but I've not hooked it up to a radio for testing as of
yet.
