 When adding a number such as 0001 (possible BIB number) the field shortens
 to a single digit 1.

 Steps to repro:
 1. Create a form
 2. Add a numeric field
 3. add other fields for fun.
 4. Save and Close form.
 5. New Message, Select your new form
 6. Enter the 0001
 7. hit tab
 8. Watch number get shortened.
