It's purely slow data, no headers, nothing.  D-RATS was born from the 
radio side, where you have no access to such things.

Yeah, I think that would be the right way.  If it starts at some base 
for the first radio port and increments from there, I can add a UI 
feature to simplify choosing the port for the user.
