Well, that depends.

If your system is configured as the email gateway and your message hits 
the internet directly, then the address you have in the "outbound 
gateway" configuration will be used.  If you send your email form to a 
buddy that actually gateways it, then his will be used.  In either case, 
the "From" of the email is constructed so that it looks (to the email 
recipient) like the email is from your callsign.

If you send it via WL2K, then your winlink address will be used as the 
"from" address, regardless of which station actually gateways it to the 
internet.

Does that make sense?
