 Lesson learned:  We need to be sure that we set a timeout of no more then
 3 min in the D-Star radio connected through the D-Rats proxy.  Situation:
 If a user on a RATFLECTOR aborts a transmission to another user, there is
 a strong possibility that the RATFLECTOR/PROXY will think that the
 connection is still live and will continue to transmit.  D-RATS  doesn't
 seem to understand when a user aborts or goes off-line during a
 send/receive  D-Rats will continue to send and may continue even if the
 radio has a time out set.  I have not tried to see what would happen if
 the above situation occurred with the time out set, however my guess is it
 would go back into transmit after the time out and would continue in this
 loop until the RATFLECTOR/PROXY is shut down
