Comment:

 You can run d-rats.exe with the -c option to specify where it keeps
 everything (the config file, messages, maps, etc).  If you create a
 launcher on the USB drive that runs the binary with a directory in the
 CWD, then you should be able to keep it all self-contained.  Try running
 it with "d-rats.exe -c foo".

 I use this a lot when testing D-RATS as you might imagine.

 Give that a shot and let me know if it works for you...
