 Are you all on 64-bit Windows?

 Both logs attached to this bug look like 64-bit windows, and the OS is
 refusing to run the old binary.  Unfortunately, Winlink uses this beyond-
 ancient compression scheme and the reference implementation for this is a
 16-bit DOS binary executable, which 64-bit Windows is apparently refusing
 to run.

 The subject issue is a different story of course.  Brian, do you have a
 log capture of a case where it loses the subject?
