[drats_users] Macintosh

Sewell had two drivers: One for FTDI based adapters and one for Prolific based adapters. I assumed it was a FTDI adapter and downloaded it. I went into terminal. The operating system did not recognize the device. The only device that showed up was a bluetooth adapter. I downloaded the Prolific based adapter software and terminal recognized it. I entered the device into D Rats and it works. Looks like I am in business.

Do you know that's correct for your adapter? Someone familiar with OSX
will have to jump in here and tell you how to verify that that is correct.
