Dave see my responses below

Paul,
You say you see the incoming text. Do you see it on DRATS or the Dongle?
DRATS

You say DRats never sees your text. What text? Transmitted, received? Other
DRATS users never see the text I am trying to transmit, meaning I type a
some text in the chat window hit enter or click send the dongle transmits
but no one see that text I tried to send.....

I am in the atl area this weekend. I will try to contact you on sba. Maybe
we can setup a time email me directly... thanks!

Need raw text(and I check sniff as well) enabled to see rf generated
text on dongle connection.

Also I have setup DVTool 2.0 beta 3 and windows D-Rats 0.3.1b1
successfully running in PUEL Sun VirtualBox, under fedora 10 linux.

That's broken then, because it means that the packets are getting
corrupted and you won't be able to transfer anything of meaning (like a
file).

I need to check the packet assembly algorithm in D-RATS to make sure
that it's suitable for this sort of thing. When I wrote it initially,
everything was arriving over a slow serial connection so things behaved
differently :)

The same applies vice-versa for the rf user to see dongle generated text
from my tests,
which is probably more applicable to the original post.

I'm really surprised at this because Dave (I think) said he was able to
transfer files from RF to dongle and back... Did I misunderstand?
