[drats_users] I need help

Yes, I am on a DV channel. I have even tried every comport setting and even
tried 3 different USB ports.
I am sure when I find it, it will be something simple. The main reason I
want to get it up and running is
because it will be used mainly for drill and emergency communications for
our EOC.

Well, you could always try a terminal program (like HyperTerm) connected
to the serial port.  Just typing something should cause the radio to
transmit.  If it doesn't then you know it's wiring or serial ports,
although if the adapter works for other things, I'd expect it to work at
least enough to key the radio.

This might be a stupid question, but you are in DV mode and have the
MAIN side set to the DV channel, right?
