Adrian, yes, I agree that the ID-1 works quite well with D-RATS in DV mode.
Have you tried using D-RATS with DD mode? If I can setup D-RATS with an
internet port to go to a Ratflector, then it seems there should be a way to
get it to work between two ID-1 radios, which merely act as a bridge between
two PCs. Perhaps this has already been done, and you or someone could point
me to any documentation?
