[drats_users] Ratflector question

When adding a new port, in the File > Preferences > Radio section, it
prompts for the port speed.  Traditionally this has been either 9600 or
38400 depending on the radio. 

Question... When connected to the Ratflector, or through any other
"net:" connection, does the port speed limit the file transfer rate?  

I've never really thought about it when using the old Radio setup
section and just left it as 9600 (when linked to the Ratflector), but
now that we can setup individual port settings and if the port speed
does impact on the file transfer rate then should the drop-down list be
limited to 115200?
