I meant to comment on this...

This will let you write up a form on one machine, export it to a USB
stick or shared folder, and import it back into another D-RATS
directly.

The idea here is to one day provide a way to start up D-RATS in "dumb"
mode which would only show you the messages tab and not connect to a
radio or anything.  Then, non-radio operators could compose messages
and deliver them to the radio operator in some manner to be actually
sent.
