I'd still like to get a bug on record, when you get a chance.

If you want to patch your copy with my fix, try this:

  wget -qO -
'http://d-rats.com/hg/hgwebdir.cgi/d-rats-0.3.hg/raw-rev/e527d0f41c22' |
patch -p1

Do it in the d-rats-0.3.0-alpha8 directory and it should apply the
change by saying:

  patching file d_rats/emailgw.py
