Well, I'm willing to continue to help if you'd like to proceed.  I feel
confident that we can figure it out.

Send me the details of how you've configured your outgoing mail in
D-RATS, as well as a debug log of it failing to send.  Also, which
version of D-RATS are you using?

For what it's worth, most of the people who have issues with sending
mail end up realizing that it's a firewall issue.  If you're getting a
timeout error still, I'd recommend re-checking your firewall software.
