 You're saying that the icon does not change state when you mark a message
 read/unread, is that right?  Does the text of the fields become bold when
 unread?

 I've fixed an issue with fields containing the < or > characters, which
 may have been causing a problem, so please re-assess when I post the next
 beta.  I'm still unable to reproduce an issue here.
