Make sure that the speed of the com port is set correctly to 9600 XON/XOFF for software handshaking. Also that rig is not "BUSY" on the rig of the display. This will keep it from transmitting. You may have to turn the squelch up a little more towards the attenuator setting. It works for me on the ID-800H. Good luck Keith AB8CL
