 I know this is not as easy as it sounds but everyone I have spoken with
 has mentioned how nice that would be, especially when the D-RATS window is
 minimized or in the background. I have to agree. Many times I have missed
 messages and chat requests because the Window was not visible and I was
 unaware someone was trying to contact me. It also makes sense from an
 EmComm application perspective. Emergency operation are always rather
 hectic and operators are going in various directions and multitasking to
 the limit. Some sort of audible alert would ensure that the message
 delivery was announced. The flashing tray icon is a major improvement, now
 if we could build that into something we could hear....
