Update

Trying this Auto Qst; TYPE = EXEC,  Content = 
(´FILE´,´/root/download.rss.sh´)

with rsstool, being a utility to read, parse, merge and write RSS (and 
Atom)
feeds, avail on yum/yumex

Updated as below, this simple script as rss.sh;

The output goes to RSS.txt nicely in txt format, but the FILE option in Auto QST does not
 display/transmit the txt contents of the file when time is up or when clicked Dan?
I run the RSS.sh as a EXEC qst just to keep RSS.txt updated, and it shows no output as you
 would expect from above script. My only problem now is for the File QST using /root/RSS.txt
 to work properly?
Path is /root/RSS.txt. The txt file displays(thanks to --txt) what you would expect like this, cut and pasted 
from RSS.txt;
