[drats_users] GPS Reciever Question

Ok, added question.......

Found this online: http://www.kh-gps.de/ic91_io.gif

Here is the thought. Basic of above cable, but instead of the DB-9 going
straight to the GPS harness?

GPS harness is bare wire ends.

Sorry, I'm just trying to lessen the number of cables that have to be daisy
chained together to make this work. If it has to be done serial to serial,
so be it. What exactly is a null modem connector? Is there a way to wire the
GPS side to a) avoid the null modem and b) opposite gender from the
programming cable so that it is just connect and go?

Use the programming cable, plus a null modem (and gender changer, if
necessary) between the radio and the GPS.
