<div dir="auto">Thank you for the reply. I have the CPS software so that's not an issue. I have known that one could hex edit but nobody would ever tell me exactly where. They would tell me go find out. Or go read some obscure document. The irony is I am a programmer and I know how to use a hex editor. It's amazing and frustrating at the same time that people know how to do it but don't want to openly share it. As a extra class I say humbly with my Sheriff years I've never heard it referred to as that. I'm always heard it referred to as a frequency. LOL.<br><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I bought a high split UHF XTS 3000 after being told it was "easy" to drop it down to 439 where I needed it. It would also allow me to listen to LA County Fire and LAPD. I don't need to transmit to either one of them. But I was told it was easy. Then nobody would tell me how to do it. LOL. It's not easy to me. So now I'm going to next XTS 3000 sitting on the shelf doing nothing.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Now I've got a couple of low band cdm's and CHP starts at 39 MHz. The split is 42 MHz - 50 MHz. I did read the W9CR and it made it look like there were only two spots are needed to change to change the split.
