As an alternative, if you can get a Linux box or virtual machine, you can poke around the chirp source directly and make your own &quot;bypass&quot; if that's what you really how you want to do things. For the record, these are not great ideas, but if I had a bricked
 radio I'd probably be doing the same thing you are.</div>
