But is it selected? Windows will install the latest device driver and<br>
select it. Then you have to switch it back to the version you want.<br>

Also while you are in Device Manager, make sure that the COM port<br>
assigned to the programming cable didn't change. CHIRP remembers and<br>
selects the last port used even if it is no longer available. When<br>
this happens, you have to switch CHIRP to the new port.<br>

If the v3.2.0.0 device driver is still selected and CHIRP is set to<br>
the correct port and it still doesn't work, then what is the exact<br>
error message (or attach a debug.log file)?<br>
