You don't select a USB port. The radio uses serial communications. The<br clear="none">
programming cable has a chip inside that when used with the<br clear="none">
appropriate device driver installed in the Windows operating system,<br clear="none">
creates a virtual serial port (COM port) for the programming software<br clear="none">
to connect to. Follow the advice provided by Jardy in an earlier<br clear="none">
reply.<br clear="none">
