<br>I tried pressure straight into the radio, to the back side of the radio, to the front side of the radio, to the top of the radio and to the bottom of the radio.
<br>similar results, the LCD screen blinks and goes back to the beginning screen.

<br>You will get the exact same error message if you don't plug the 2-pin
<br>plug into the radio. So make sure that the 2-pin plug is fully
<br>inserted into the socket of the radio. Some have had to put a little
<br>pressure on the plug during the cloning process.
