          On my TM-271, it appears to be menu 17 on the radio settings. You might have to power cycle or reset the radio from menu 99.

             Thanks for the reply.&nbsp; I don't see a settings tab.&nbsp; When I "download from radio" and try and click on the "Properties" tab there is no response.&nbsp; I hope that would be an area where I could increase the number of channels to the specified 200 that is supposed to be available.&nbsp; It's like the radio is stuck on alphanumeric mode.

                Been trying to use CHIRP to program my&nbsp; Kenwood TM-281A.&nbsp; This radio is specced for 200 channels but, according to literature, reverts to 100 channels when names are used.&nbsp;&nbsp;

                When I download from the radio it only allows me 100 channels (0-99), even when I import a CSV file with the names deleted.&nbsp; When I click on the memory range I am unable to go past 99 (upward arrow greyed out).
