I am tempted to second this. I know chrome has an "expert" feature that can be enabled where you can then run normal Linux programs (like gimp etc) but the file system was severely limited last time I used it about a year ago so I wouldn't expect any /dev/ttyUSB*
devices to be available inside the sandbox.<br>

It will definitely take some poking around by someone with a Chromebook laying around (which I do not anymore)<br>
