<p>I have read the content of the Miklor site, and it does not help me: The connector sits very well in the radio's Audio ports, and those Audio ports work well with a remote microphone. I also installed the fresh new version of CHIRP (20200207) on my Windows 10 desktop. What else could be wrong? When the Radio window opens while attempting to transfer the programming table to the UV-82 radio, the proper COM port shows up, but the Brand and Model fields of the radio are greyed out. What more can I do?</p>
