Found a really weird bug on my UV5R today by accident.
If you have one, try it and see if yours does the same thing.
Press and hold PTT. While holding PTT push 1 on the keypad and hold for 5
seconds. This of course sends DTMF #1.
If you release the PTT while still holding the 1 button, the radio stays in
transmit mode with the microphone on even though the display says it's back
in receive mode. I found no way to stop the transmission except to turn off
the radio.
