Using some population sites for the US and the ARRL site to get the total number of hams in the US (and using Jimmy to figure out the blasted math in Excel!), I came up with a %-age of hams per state in the US, which I'm attaching. <o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>It's interesting to see the highest per capita hams in which states. Most of the states are .37% and down. Utah is the highest with .56%. Next highest is Idaho with .50%, Alaska with .48%, Oregon, .47%, Washington, .45%, New Hampshire, .41%, and the rest under .37%.
