<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">dmr is more complex to program than a 1 dimension memory layout of analog radios. theres talkgroups, colours, zones, contacts etc and they have to be then stitched together by the software. a sharkrf openspot may be usefull
to you if no local repeaters. recommended. i got 2 <span>😊</span></p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"><span>otherwise, chirp is the best app for me on my other fleet of radios, works great.</span><br>

Do you know if that's a technical limitation, or just means that there <br>
hasn't been anyone trying to work with this model yet? Are the protocols <br>
used to talk to the radios documented anywhere? Could always look at the <br>
source I suppose. <grin><br>

For what it's worth, it turns out I don't have a digital repeater in my <br>
area yet anyway, but will be looking to set up for regular analog use.<br>
