<DIV> I have an older, pristine, XP machine, that I’m
attempting to install CHIRP onto. I’m not a software expert by any imagination.
I’m getting the error message: C:\Program
Files\Chirp\chirpw.exe This application has failed to start
because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstall... which I have
several times.</DIV>

<DIV>XP version 2002 with SP2</DIV>

<DIV>I have purposely kept, and still want to keep the machine, off line.</DIV>

<DIV>What have I done wrong with the install? Went through wiki and messages,
but nothing jumps out.</DIV>
