<div dir="ltr">As far as the question mark in place of apostrophe goes, I believe it is an artifact of poor translation from Unicode to ASCII/UTF8. It's not deliberate misuse of punctuation, but how some Mail Transport Agent (MTA) or MUA (Mail User Agent) handles unknown characters. Are you asking about iOS, the operating systems on devices like iPhones and iPads; or about MacOS, the operating system on MacBook laptops and iMac desktops? You specifically stated a version of High Seria which makes me think you are actually asking about
MacOS, especially since Chirp doesn?t run on iOS. Both FTDI and clone cables are supported on MacOS as well as it?s predecessor Mac OS X.

Just buy a cable for your radio, perhaps from your radio manufacturer's web site, and try it. Report back on your findings.<br>

known as OS X), not iOS. IOS is for the iPhone and iPad.<br>

I see clearly where the mistake was made...by me. I?m the one that used ?iOS? instead of just ?Mac OS?. I learned something today. So I will order the cables I need for my two Yaesus, download CHIRP to my MacBook Pro and go on from there. Thanks to all for

I'm using Ubuntu linux here and a couple days ago I got the new daily <br>
build available e-mail notice but I never got the new version when I did <br>
