BTech UV-5x3 and found that the Wouxun cable works just fine for
it...sort of.
I had to trim away a lot of the rubber/plastic so it fits all
the way into the radio. On my Win7 machine I had no problem
loading frequencies. My Win10 machine, however, was a different
story. It kept replacing the working cable driver with the "best"
driver that doesn't work at all. So I cracked open the USB end
and replaced the Prolific interface with an FTDI interface.
After finding out that the RxD and TxD wires are reversed, I got
it going on both machines.
The load from a stock source is a real nice touch!
