<div dir="auto">Y'know, I have heard more than 1 ham claim that chirp is "dangerous" and/or junk, but when pressed, they all either heard it from someone else or they expect the same sort of experience you get when you pay for an integrated solution, like RT Systems. Chirp works. You have to pay attention to the details like proper cable selection, but it works. It's not an out- of- the box solution. </div>There are two ways to go with this:<br>
<br>
- Buy one good FTDI to DE9 cable and then buy only serial cables for each radio<br>
<br>
- Or switch to Linux where there are no driver issues<br>
