OK, the extension speaker would make more sense in the back, I
guess. I just wish I had waited for the new version that has it. :)<br>

The first version of the KT8900 had the data port on the back
and no headphone jack. The newer ones apparently have both - the
headphones must plug in to the back (which seems backwards, but
better than not having it).<br>

radio responded just fine. I don't know if this is true if
all KT8900s, but if yours has a front jack, it's a good idea
