Are you using the latest CHIRP daily build? The repository shows that<br>
the Yaesu FT-50 driver was "overhauled" in January 2016 and a test<br>
image was added in February 2016.<br>

Using the latest daily build (CHIRP daily-20170324), I am able to<br>
select Yaesu FT-50 as the Vendor/Model of radio that I want to<br>
download from. The Yaesu FT-50 test image from the CHIRP repository<br>
also loaded fine,<br>
