I verified the driver version after the EXE installed it. Made sure the cable was plugged in tight. No difference. Tried 4 radios. All go to TX. I'll build a Linux box this weekend and see if that makes a difference. i planned on doing this anyway. </div></div>This is a common problem. Your programming cable most likely has an<br>
unauthorized copy (aka counterfeit) Prolific chip in it. The driver<br>
auto installed by Windows for this chip is intentionally incompatible.<br>
You must download, install and select the older, but compatible,<br>
v3.2.0.0 driver.<br>

I have several installed for testing cables, but keep the v3.2.0.0<br>
driver selected most of the time because it works with genuine and<br>
