This is a good question for the manufacturer, but outside the scope of<br>
something Chirp could do. (Chirp does not attempt to change firmware<br>
on any radio.)<br>

You can copy the same set of channels to both radios with Chirp,<br>
assuming Chirp supports both firmware versions.<br>
