<div>I know if I'm in chanel mode, it shows me the pl code but not my offset info. But it does have the +/- icon on the screen. If I was showing frequency instead of name, I would see the frequency change when I transmit. <br/>

I enter a frequency a ct tone and an offset and save to a channel. This is in the VFO of Courts. then I go to channel mode and pull up that channel and find that the CT tone and the offset have not carried over. It is acting like a simplex frequency. did I do something wrong or miss something?</p>

You just type it into the Frequency cell of the memory spreadsheet editor.<br>

If you are talking about entering the frequency into the VFO using the<br>
keypad (which has nothing to do with CHIRP), you do the following:<br>
<br>
1 set menu 1 (STEP) to a value that is compatible with the frequency<br>
that you want to enter<br>
2 key in the 1st 6 digits of the frequency<br>
3 press the [^] up arrow key once<br>
<br>
For example if you want to listen to FRS channel, 462.5625 MHz<br>
<br>
1 Set STEP to 2.5KHZ, 6.25KHZ or 12.5KHZ<br>
2 Key in 462562 (after entering the last 2, the frequency will be<br>
rounded off to the 1st STEP compatible frequency below the desired<br>
frequency)<br>
3 Press the [^] up arrow key once (the display will read "462.562"<br>
followed by a very small 5)<br>
