<div dir="ltr">Hi,<br><br>Just installed Chirp on Ubuntu 14.04 and can't get it to read anything from the radio. <br><br>I have confirmed the cable works, both the RS-92 software and the Windows version of Chirp running in Wine can talk to the radio 100%.<br><br>The USB to Serial cable is a genuine chip, not one of the fakes and works in Windows and Linux just not with the Ubuntu version of Chirp. It has also been used with the Icom Android app on a tablet and phone.<br><br>All lines have Error in the Name field and no data is shown from the radio in any cell. Also, there doesn't appear to be any communication with the radio as the light on the adaptor doesn't light at any time.
