Yes... there is sort of a special sequence.<br>
<br>
For example, when you click on 141.3 to choose it, it is not selected<br>
yet. You must either press the [Enter] key or click onto another cell<br>
to make the selection "stick". Until you do this, you can press the<br>
[Esc] key to abort the selection and it will revert back to the<br>
original value.<br>
<br>
A quick way to make sure that you have fully selected everything is to<br>
click on the [Refresh] button at the top of the spreadsheet style<br>
Memory Editor. If after you click this button, the value reverts back<br>
to its original value, it wasn't fully selected.<br>
<br>
Another way to change the settings of a memory row so that you will<br>
know the changes will be 100% selected when you are done editing is to<br>
use the Memory Properties editor. To use this editor, click on a<br>
memory row to highlight that row (clicking on the leftmost Loc number<br>
works best). Then click the [Properties] button at the top of the<br>
spreadsheet style Memory Editor. This will bring up the Memory<br>
Properties editor for that row. Note: An alternative way to select the<br>
Memory Properties editor is to Right-click the desired memory row and<br>
then choose "Properties" from the pop-up dialog box.<br>

Make all of the desired changes in the Memory Properties editor. When<br>
done, click the [Ok] button and all of the changes will be made<br>
permanent.<br>
<br>
A nice feature of the Memory Properties editor is that you can use it<br>
to edit multiple memories at the same time. To do this you would use<br>
Ctrl-Click and Shift-Click to highlight multiple memory rows. When the<br>
[Properties] button is pressed while multiple rows are selected, the<br>
Memory Properties editor will change the properties of all of the<br>
selected memories at the same time.<br>
<br>
For example, lets say the 7 NOAA Weather Alert frequencies were<br>
imported from the CHIRP stock config file. You would highlight these 7<br>
memories and then bring up the Memory Properties editor. In the Memory<br>
Properties you would "tick" the box to the left of Duplex to open it<br>
for editing and then set Duplex = "off" (to inhibit TX on these<br>
memories). Then you would "tick" the box to the left of Skip and set<br>
Skip = "S" (to skip these memories when scanning). Then click the [Ok]<br>
button to make these changes permanent.<br>
