I admit: it was frustrating.</div><div class="" style="font-family: Helvetica-Light;"><br class=""></div><div class="" style="font-family: Helvetica-Light;">But eventually I thought “well, hmm… what if it actually IS a real Baofung cable?” So I went to the Baofung website and downloaded the official driver.</div><div class="" style="font-family: Helvetica-Light;"><br class=""></div><div class="" style="font-family: Helvetica-Light;">And it worked perfectly on the first try, and I’ve been using the latest build of CHIRP ever since. Absolutely no issues whatsoever.</div><div class="" style="font-family: Helvetica-Light;"><br class=""></div><div class="" style="font-family: Helvetica-Light;">So I can suggest this to you: buy this exact cable, download your driver directly from the Baofeng website, and I’ll wager your problems will be over.
